摘  要：著重研討了GPS在軍事、地球物理和大地測量、航空航天及空間技術、工程測試、交通運輸及工農業生產中廣泛的創新的應用情況，客觀地總結了GPS是具有重要戰略意義和較高實用價值的系統工程，是繼移動通訊和互聯網后的第三大高新應用技術，它將在國防建設、國民經濟及現代社會中發揮極其重要的作用。

Abstract: This paper discussed emphatically the extensive innovatory  applications of GPS in military affairs，geophysics and geodesy，aviation aerospace， space technique， engineering-testing， traffic-transportation， industry and agriculture， summarized objectively in conclusion that GPS is a system-engineering with important strategic-significance and great useful-worth. It is third grand new  applied-technology after the mobile communication and the internet. GPS will play ever more important function in  national defence，national economy development and society of today  field.
